A day away

Hi  :)

I won't be in tomorrow. I'm heading down the motorway with hubby because my daughter is graduating on Thursday. It's early in the day so we're going to stay in a hotel tomorrow night. She's my youngest child and the fourth to graduate from university, but the only one who is actually attending her graduation. None of the others favoured the silly hat. She's always liked dressing up though!

Hi Scottie

I hope you have a wonderful day together and that the journey doesn't exhaust you.  It's a stormy day today so I hope the motorway isn't too busy.

Be sure to 'kvell' loudly.  (I can't think of an English equivalent for this wonderful Yiddish word.  It means the warm, joyous feeling we get when we think of/see our children.)

Congratulations Mum!!! and to Dad also.  That is quite an accomplishment.  Four of them through university.  Good for you.
