Low Vitamin D

My GP did a blood test for Vitamin D and found it to be low.

Just wanted to bring up this article:

So generally, Vitamin D Supplements - are they good for us / bad for us / as always with SjS - it's different for each individual?

I'm just curious because I believe low Vitamin D probably accounts for many of my problems. I went to home country recently where we have lots of (sometimes too much of) sun light. And this is what happened: all three weeks I was there, my eyes were normal, my skin felt better, and my mouth was better. I wonder if that was because of higher Vitamin D (because of better sunlight).
