Hi Kathy,
Yes, the temps here in December are wonderful. Right now it is hot. It will be a long summer. The heat and humidity took alot of getting used to.
We have a black lab that we fostered from a rescue shelter last year. He grew on us so we just recently adopted him. We, and I use the term "we" loosely, also have three cats. They are all so pretty. The first one showed up a couple of months before my beloved doggy passed. She was little and hungry so we kept her, a real pretty calico. Then hubby thought she needed a playmate so we went to a rescue shelter and adopted a pretty little calico for a playmate. This girl has such long hair it almost hangs on the floor. She's a beauty. Well, the first kitty was too independent and wasn't thrilled to have her as a playmate.Hubby thought the new kitty needed a playmate so, yep you guessed it, we adopted yet another kitty. He is a beauty, grey and white, long hair. Turned out neither of the girls liked him at all, sheesh. Now they all get along well, but Grayson, the newest kitty, does still play a little rough. Oh, did I mention that I am allergic to cats?

But I wouldn't trade them for anything. Our doggy had spent two years in a cage at the rescue shelter before we took him home to foster him. We've had him for a year now and the change in him is so amazing. He has developed such a personality now. When our doggy passed at the age of fourteen, I knew I could never have another dog. But, we fostered a golden retriever until he was adopted, waited a short time then fostered this guy. Needless to say, our house is now full.
I bet your doggy is amazing. I hadn't heard of a ginger terrier so I looked them up. What a pretty dog. Your black moggie must be such a nice kitty. No wonder they rule the roost. They always find a way to rule the house and they soon learn how to play us. They have us eating right out of their paws. Don't you love it when they show their teeth and smile real big? It's priceless.
I hope you are having a nice weekend.
