BP pulse rate problems
« on: October 07, 2014, 03:42:05 AM »
Does anyone with primary SS have these problems:  blood pressure that goes up with racing heart and burning skin on cheeks, legs, arms, brain fog, insomnia and  small sores on face?  Symptoms come and go and sometimes are severe where I have trouble walking/talking normal. Have been on prednisone for 6 months, started at 20 and now down to 4mg.  Can adrenals be messed up?
Thanks I need HELP because some days I can't get out of bed.  They did a halter monitor and 24 urine test to check adrenals, no new yet.

Ask you doc about orthostatic intolerance.  I have all of the symptoms that you describe, though maybe not all at once.  My rheumy sent me for OI testing and was actually shocked that I have it.  Now I am on saline infusions as a third line of defense to control my BP and pulse rate.  Just a thought.
