Welcome to all (8 of us, so far) who are going to juggle our lives together.

Anyone is welcome to join anywhere along the way . . . the more, the merrier.
I don't know about you, but I find that I am constantly having to do the "usual" things like grocery shopping, cooking, dishes, laundry, house cleaning, my job, bill paying, etc., that I'm tired after that to even
think about doing anything on the "to do" list.
It sure would be nice to do a job (cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc.) once and be done with it. Nope, you have to keep doing it over, and over, and over. Sigh.
Do any of you find that if you write down your intentions (make a "to-do" list) that you are more apt to actually do it than just "talking" about it? Maybe it's the satisfaction I get when I see the items on the list being crossed off as completed that keeps me motivated.
Many times in the evening when my husband comes home from work and I've been home for the day he'll ask, "what did you do today?" (I work part-time, two days a week in the winter, and three days a week the rest of the year). Some days I can rattle off quite a few things (from the list two paragraphs above), other times I say, "well . . . . . I had good intentions to do ________ (fill in the blank), but I ended up doing nothing!". Thankfully, he doesn't care.
I have SO many things on my "to do" list that I don't know where to start first. Some things are "seasonal" - like putting up and taking down decorations, washing curtains, washing windows and others are more involved like organizing a closet, drawer or cabinet.
I'm sure some of you can relate . . . if I want to clean out a drawer for example, I start out doing well, then I get "sidetracked" by stopping and reading a card or letter in the drawer, or having all these little piles laying around as I'm sorting stuff. Then, you have to take a break to fix dinner. Then, you throw in a load or two of laundry and empty the dishwasher along the way. Hours later it's getting bed time and you go into the bedroom only to find the drawer and all these piles all over the bed. Ugh!!! Oh yeah, I was working on cleaning out the drawer . . . . gather it all up again, put it back in the drawer and worry about it another day.

Story of my life!
With the bitter cold here this weekend, my "plan" is to tackle the dining room table that is buried with papers, Christmas cards, college booklets, hangers, magazines, gloves, a few pumpkins that were part of my fall decorations, camera, a stack of papers I sorted a few weeks back (and gathered back up again until I can find a place to file them). OK, I think I need a nap now!!

Have a good weekend, everyone. Good luck with any projects you are working on. Even if we spend 15 minutes here and there throughout the weekend, we'll make a little bit of headway.
