To those affected - please check in when you get a chance and let us know how you are.

If you are able, hire some young whippersnapper to shovel or snow-blow your driveway and/or sidewalks.

We hope those of you who will be snowed in don't lose power.

Stay safe.

I am in CT.  We are among the fortunate and have power.  my hubby is out with the riding snowblower.  It could be hours.  The snow is so high and the drifts are covering the cars.  Good thing he has more energy than I do.  I am looking forward to relaxing homebound day and doing some quilting.  We are in touch wiith friends and family to be sure everyone is safe or in need of any assistance.   Thinking good thoughts for all.

I wonder if they have many snowmobiles around.  In some of our very rural areas here, we have volunteers around so in case of an emergency, they can go get someone or deliver medicines.

I wish they did I am trying to dig out and it is doing me in.  There is ice under the snow so that makes it harder.  They only ploughed my road a few hours ago.  I parked near the end of the driveway to make it easier but the plough went more to the otherside.  I don't think I will be getting to work tom there is just too much to shovel.  I am grateful though that I didn't lose power this time.  My best friend in England was jealous because we had so much snow so I told her she was crazy!
