Also--wanted to add---the citrate form apparently is a shorter-acting form of magnesium. Probably the more you take then it would get you going for the time being. But the glycinate form kinds of 'stays with you' longer. Anyway, it works really well for me. I used to have to take all these powders at night (I took Natural Calm--mag citrate powder and psyllium too) and it is nice to just take the mag glycinate. I will say, though, that once I wake up in the morning, I really do need to be where I can use a bathroom. That is to say, there is slightly more urgency involved than just your normal "I'll use the restroom once I get into town" type thinking.
