Finally a Rheumy Appointment!!

I visited my AMAZING GP today for a complete check up! She had ran some more blood work last week when I saw her and she is confident that all my "issues" are caused by Sjogrens. BUT the best thing was that she has me into see a Rheumy on February 26th!! My previous Rheumy appointment was not until November 3rd.

I am SO happy!! She also told me to discontinue my use of Celebrex as I have not seen any relief from my joint and muscle pain while I have been on it and it has been very hard on my stomach.

I am hopeful that I will be able to get some relief from some of this soon!!

Keep hold of that GP!! I'm so glad that you are not going to have to hang around till November for an appointment.

I hope you get the answers you need - and some relief.

Thanks Scottie! I have had so much encoragement from everyone here to pursue further with my GP and she has delivered.

GREAT NEWS!

February is sooooooooooooo much better than November!  ;D  glad to hear that your GP is a keeper and that she  has helped you out so much! Keep us posted!

I'm so glad to hear that you've got a great GP!  Lucky you!!!!  Wow, and you get to see the rheumy next month too?  That is outstanding!  :D

I'm with YYC. Let's hope the rheumy is a good one. Don't be surprised if he/she disregards everything your GP said. In my experience, they tend to ignore GPs and run all tests from the very beginning.
