Religion and Politics

Sjogren's World is a community of a very diverse group of people, as we're sure you're all aware. We are members from many different countries, religions, and ethnic backgrounds.  It's part of why this is a wonderful group! 

Because of this diversity, we ask that no one discuss politics or religion.  Just as we would not post about an election of a government official, for example, we ask that there is no posting of any religion in particular, open prayers, or quoting of scripture on the forum.  We understand that faith and prayer are a source of help and comfort when we have illness, but it is also important that all members feel comfortable here, no what their viewpoint.

This does not include wording such as "sending prayers" or "asking for prayers."  We only ask that if an actual prayer is sent, it be done in a private message.  Also, we ask that you not mention your religion in particular or how you express your faith, please.

As always, we want the boards to be a warm and caring place, with consideration given to all guests and members.
