I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 1979, and because of that, when my dry eyes and mouth started, I just said "oh it's the sarc" and didn't follow up. My GP took it further, referred me to my rheumy, and I added a DX of Sjogren's based on elevated ss-A and ss-B.
Some literature states sarc as exclusionary criteria for Sjogren's (ie. if you have sarc you can't be DXd with Sjogren's) but my docs don't follow that school of thought, and I have both.
