i use systane ultra since two years. when i was ok just before going to bed and in the morning,
since im worse ive used it every four hours but no relief at all,on the contrary all of a sudden it seems that my eyes do not like it.i tried a gel, sicca gel,and seems great,i ve put it five hours ago and it seems i do not need it  now,

I really like Systane Ultra.  When I knew I could not afford Restasis, my ophthalmologist recommended it.  I am sorry to hear that your flare is not being controlled with it.  I've only been on it for 1-1/2 years, so getting close to that 2-year mark.  Where did you find sicca gel, over-the-counter?

I use Restasis eye drops for my very dry eyes and it works great.  Restasis is:  Cyclosporine Ophthalmic Emulsion 0.05% prescription eye drops. I use it when I get up in the morning and just before I go to bed at night. During the day if I need more drops I use Systane. The Restasis works very well and it is the only thing that keeps my eyes from feeling like I have sand in them.
