found good website Sjogrens GI symptoms
« on: July 02, 2014, 10:47:47 PM »
Hi folks, I have been struggling with a colon issue and had the cultures, etc and looking for answers to some of my questions found this good site. This article has a specific couple of paragraphs that address Sjogrens and GI symptoms and it is very good. Here is the link:

http://www.ncbi.nim.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3150032/

Hope this works for you. It also covers many other autoimmune diseases and their colon issues. Good luck. Irish

Thanks for letting me know. I changed it so hope it works now. Irish

The link is faulty. This one should work: (I think you meant this article?)

Sorry you're struggling with GI-problems - on top of everything! But thanks for the tip, I'll read the article with great interest.

Thanks, Irish.

That is a good article and it does not downplay systemic and extraglandular Sjogren's symptoms (like some articles do).

That was a helpful article. I can use the terminology to do more searches.

Gi problems are so bad for your quality of life. I thought when I had my gall bladder removed that I had found the answer. It helped but not enough. Then found I was lactose intolerant. Another big plus and a step forward, but there is still a problem.

Good luck to all
