Hi Lighthouse,

I clicked through on a couple.

I have to say that when I think about my neuropathy I get depressed.

I don't really have a lot of pain, my feet tingle and feel like they've been 'asleep' sometimes.

But since as my neurologist said:  When the nerve is GONE it can't get more gone.  I think our nerves produce pain either in the process of being destroyed, or in the process of recovering (if that happens).

I just can't walk, or balance, or get sensible information to or from my legs, since the nerve damage scrambles everything into messages that panic my brain or cause me to stagger or trip in my legs and feet.

My diagnosis is demyelinating neuropathy.

I wish I had some encouragement.  My husband thinks I just don't try hard enough.

sigh.

See, this topic is very hard for me.
