I had to cut back on black cherries. I do take "high active tart cherry extracts" to help with arthritis, gout and other symptoms.

Good timing. I just moved to Traverse City, Michigan -- the "Cherry Capital of the World" -- so I've got plenty of opportunities to give cherries a try. They put cherries in everything up here -- muffins, pancakes, candy, sauces, etc.   ;D

Dark Cherries are best for Arthritis and gout. Some soak them in vodka first but I do not need the added dryness or the hangover.

Cherries are my absolutely fav fruit of choice.  I will constantly munch on either fresh Bing cherries or Ranier Cherries whenever they are in season.  Thanks for letting me know that there also a good choice for anti-inflammatory aspects.  Now if I only could rub them all over my sore joints and muscles to take away the aches and pains ......... lol

oh well,  I just can NOT stand cherries.

Growing up all the different medicines were "cherry" flavored.

So here at age 51, I still can not deal with the taste of cherries.

Maybe when I grow up, I will be able to deal with cherries again.

OMG I love cherries!

And now they're good for me?

Canned, fresh, what?

PS, I've never seen them frozen have you?

Traverse City, Michigan -- the "Cherry Capital of the World"   YUM!

I really miss when they used to squirt REAL cherry syrup in the coke/pepsi at the fountains.  :'(
This cherry coke and cherry pepsi doesn't cut it with me.
I did find a Caseys that has a cherry syrup addition squirt option if you buy a fountain drink so I get my "fix" that way. But, I figure I squirt about 5 times in every pepsi the cherry syrup. LOL  ;) :D

deeinindiana...............are you deeintraversecitymichigan now?  It is a magnificent place.  My husband grew up 30 miles from there and my cousin still lives there.  We go from southern lower peninsula up there a couple of times a year.  Hubby will go up hunting with his brother in a week or so.

Cool! I haven't scarfed any cherries since I don't know when. I'm gonna get me some.
