Hello you fine people.

Just wanted to send out a little reminder for everyone to be aware of what you are paying for things at the store. In this day and age any money that stays in
OUR pocket is to our advantage. On two occasions within the last week, at two different stores, I have been overcharged for items. How many times do you just put your items on the belt, the cashier rings them up, you pay, put the receipt in your purse or pocket and walk out the door? I have learned to step to the side before walking out the door and check my receipt before leaving.
At our grocery store, if there is a dispute between the price that rang up and the price posted on the shelf and you bring it to their attention (after the transaction), they refund your money and you get the item
FREE. Thank you Kroger's for the free tub of pulled pork.

Today, at the deli of another store, they were going to charge me $1.50 more per pound than what was posted. I was watching as he punched in the per pound dollar amount before printing out the receipt. Oh no you don't!!

The guy laughed and said "oh, I did the same thing earlier to someone else".
I've been in stores where they get a little too scan happy and double scan items that should have only been scanned once.
With the holiday spending frenzy already under way (remember, don't get caught up in all the hullabaloo . . it's easy to do) - just keep an eye out as your items are rung up and check your receipts before leaving the store (or at least before leaving the parking lot) so you can turn around and get your money back right then and there.
